Passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Marianne (nee Bohnert) Kemmer (2011). Dear father of Erwin and his wife Kathy. Loved step grandfather of Michael and Paul Zettel. Predeceased by his parents George and Katarina Kemmer. George will be missed by his family and friends in Kitchener, Germany, and Austria. George’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 7 – 9 pm. Liturgy service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 10:00 am. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
