JAMESON, Gordon Leonard Peacefully after a valiant fight at the Goderich Hospital, on Thursday, June 30, 2016 in his 79th year. Gordon was raised near Wartburg, Ontario where he was born on June 11, 1938. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his partner, Joanne Leddy, his brother Aaron Schauber (Carol) and his sister Ellen Williams (Ben). Predeceased by; his dear wife Ellen (nee Doell), his parents William and Hilda Schauber and by his sister Marie. Family and Friends will be received at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., (519-743-8900) on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A celebration of Gordon's Life will be in the Westmount Chapel at 1:30 p.m., Brianne Jourdin will officiate. Interment will be at Williamsburg Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
