Hans Joachim Zoerner

Hans Joachim Zoerner, born April 23, 1934, met his beloved Lord and Saviour face to face on August 18, 2026. Hans family said goodbye and are now left to mourn his passing, but we know that he is happy and at peace and is surrounded by the angels he missed on this earthly plain.

Hans will always be missed and remembered by his wife Jutta Marie Zoerner and his children, Regina, David, Christine and their families, his grandchildren, Steve, Amy, Jordan, Caleb, Alexandra and Thomas and his 10 great grandchildren Sawyer, Wesley, Riley, Julia, Sofia, Amelia, Ronan, Liam, Evelyn and a new baby girl joining the family soon. Opa was the cornerstone of the family and so very proud to be a husband, dad and Opa to each and everyone.

Hans adored and loved his family at the Gathering Church. A piece of his heart will always belong to Pastor Catherine and their close friendship meant so much. He looks forward to the day they will be together again.

Dad, we will always love and cherish you and your time with us, and we know we will be together again.

From two people a legacy was made.

Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St., S., Kitchener, for memorial visitation on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 10:00 am until time of service in the chapel at 11:00 am.
