Peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on October 30, 2013 with her family at her side, Hilda (Strank) McIntyre, in her 93rd year. Loving wife of the Late George Campbell McIntyre (1967) Dearest Mother of Ian (Patti) McIntyre of Woodstock and Margery (Bill) Clemmer of Kitchener. Dear Grandmother of Amber, Sylvain and Nicolette. Great Grandma to Mya, Nash, Yanic and Camille. Hilda was a Charter Member of Forest Hill United Church, a former employee of Mutual Life of Canada and was active at the Breitaupt Senior Centre for more than 20 years.
Friends will be received at Westmount Funeral Home, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will take place at Forest Hill United Church, 121 Westmount Rd on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11am. Pastor Katherine Edmonstone officiating. Cremation has taken place. A reception will be held at the Church following the service. A Private Internment of will take place at a later date.
