

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Judd (2013). Dear mother of Wendy Harrison and the late Richard McKeen (1983) and his wife Marg Douglas (Larry), and stepmother of Dianne Cook (Randy), Rick Judd (Louanne), Linda Salo (late Tony), and Bryan Judd (Cathy). Loved grandmother of Katie (Matt), Lisa, Amanda (Ryan), Deanna (Dustin), Tyler, Adam, Leif, and Leanne. Also remembered by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Ray Rostance (Betty) and Mac Rostance (Jean). Iris was born in Walsall, Staffordshire, England to Percy James and Lillian Rostance. She emigrated to Canada in 1947 as a young war bride. In preparing to move to Canada, she met and made friends with Jean Stevens, another young war bride - a friendship that lasted 73 years. Iris and Jean were active in the Canadian War Brides, hosting and participating in many War Bride Conventions. Iris was employed by United Home Builders for many years as Property Manager; a position she enjoyed while working with her husband Joe. Iris was a kind, caring and loving lady and will be very much missed by her family and friends. Iris' family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Monday, March 11, 2019, from 10:00 - 11:45 a.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 12:00 p.m., with Chaplain Lucy Graves officiating.
