

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a much beloved father, husband, uncle, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and friend. Jacek passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the age of 66. Jacek was born to parents Henry and Halina (Nee Mucha) in Lublin, Poland on April 5, 1950. Jacek married the love of his life Lucy (nee Startek) on April 3, 1983. He immigrated his family to Canada in 1989 and established a reputation as a dedicated and hard-working plumber. Dear father of Rafal Wyszynski (Jill Turnbull) and Paul Wyszynski, Jacek became a first-time grandfather a year ago to Arya Wyszynski. He is also survived by sister Elizabeth Adamczuk (Andrzej) and nephews Piotrek (Luiza) and Krzysztof (Beata). He was predeceased by his parents and grand-parents. Jacek, an enthusiastic handyman, enjoyed repairing, upgrading and reengineering things around his home as well as watching soccer, travelling and spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed and remembered for his dedication to his family, his quick wit and his stylish dance moves. Visitation will be at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Rd.) on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 66 Shanley St., on Friday at 10:00 a.m. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, a donation in Jacek’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
