Beloved husband for 75 wonderful years to Elaine (Buppy) Lidstone. Dearest father of Larry (Bonnie) Lidstone, Ron (Janice) Lidstone, and Susan (Chris) Sparling. He was predeceased by his daughter Marilyn Gould (Bill Heim).
Grandfather of 12 and Great Grandfather of 15. Dear brother of Clarence, Bob, Marg and Doug. Jim will be missed by his extended family.
Cremation has taken place. Jim's family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington.
