Passed away peacefully at Highland Place on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the age of 86 years, surrounded by her family.
Born in Cap-Pelé, New Brunswick, she moved to Kitchener-Waterloo at the age of 17. Beloved wife of late George Aldon Matchett (2014). Dear mother of Robert (deceased 2016) (Micah), Dave (Cindy), Daniel (Brenda), Linda (Ron) and Wendy. Much loved grandmother of Justin (Serena), Ben (Cait), Nathan (Nicole), Christian (Kari), Tracy (Dale), Michael (Soizic), Joshua (Heather), Jordan (Shelly), Jaclyn (Frank), Adam (Lauren), and Laura (Nathan). Great grandmother of Stella, Esmae, Emery, Aila, Jude, Gus, Vivian, Carter, Arlo, Mason, Paige, Leo, Lilah, Charlotte, Isaiah, Elsie, Emily, Ava, Riley, Lucy, David, and Destiny. Loving sister of Levina Arsenault and Bernadette Lambke. Predeceased by Ulysse, Camille, Leo, John, Mary Ann Cormier, Cecile Pawlak and Raymond. Ever loved by many, she will be missed and remembered for her radiant smile and caring ways.
Cremation has taken place, and a private time of remembrance has been held by the family.
