Joyce Caraline Caudle

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Joyce Caraline Caudle, aged 81, on November 14, 2025, at the Geis Family Centre Hospice in Waterloo, Ontario. Joyce was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments.

Born in Owen Sound, ON, on February 19, 1944, Joyce lived a life marked by love, creativity, and resilience. She was known for her vibrant spirit, her talent in knitting and sewing, and her ability to bring joy and laughter to those around her. Above all, Joyce was a woman of unwavering strength and fierce independence, always ready to offer support or lend a helping hand.

A devoted volunteer within the community, Joyce was an integral part of many different volunteer organizations, including the Waterloo Region Foodbank, and served as the head of her social committee. She touched many lives with her generosity, kindness, and her unwavering commitment.

Joyce will be deeply missed by her children: Philip (Margaret) Caudle, Peter (Lee-Anne) Caudle, and Patty (Cliff) Bowman; her grandchildren: Zack, Maria (Kyle), Josh (Payton), Julia (Chad), and Katrina (Jake); and her great-grandchildren: Ryan and Jason. She is also survived by many dear friends whose lives were enriched by her warmth and care. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved son, Kenny, as well as her parents and siblings.

In her passing, Joyce leaves behind a legacy of love, community, and compassion. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Cremation has taken place. Joyce’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 10 - 11 a.m., where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Hospice Waterloo Region, 100 Solstice Way, Waterloo, ON N2K 0G3, or online at https://www.hospicewaterloo.ca/donate/
