With tremendous sadness the family announces the passing of Ken Mielke, at the age of 41. Dearly loved and cherished son of David and Jenny Mielke. Ken will be greatly missed and forever loved by his fiancé Laurie Deveau, Joyce Harper "Momma J" and Fred "Freddie" Chowan, who was like a second father to him. Most loving step-dad to Kevin "Kev" and Michelle "Mitch", whom he loved with all of his heart. Cherished brother to Tim and Family; Laurie and Dave; and his Kalea and Maddy, Jennifer and Family, Brenda and Family always in our hearts. He will be dearly missed by his sister-in-law Wendy Gormican, brother-in-law Chuck Collins and was a favourite Uncle to Amanda Goodfellow, his "California niece". Ken will be forever with his closest friends, in their thoughts and memories. His faithful companions; Spookie,Tigger and Thumper will miss their night time scrubbies.
Friends and Family will be received at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., on Saturday September 19, 2015, to celebrate Ken’s life, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. If desired contributions to the Family are appreciated.
