Beloved friend to all who knew her. Loved mother of Janessa (3). Cherished sister to Wayne Caribou, Gilbert Caribou Bixler, twin brother Kenneth Caribou Rowe, and Cynthia Caribou. Daughter of Kenneth Rowe and Doris Caribou. She will be greatly missed by all friends and extended family.
While Kenya spent so much energy caring for the world around her, she also faced a deeply painful battle with addiction. Despite the heavy burdens she carried, Kenya fought hard, and her family and friends will forever remember her for the beautiful, complex, and pure loving person she truly was, not the disease that took her too soon.
We welcome all who knew her to join us in honouring and celebrating her light and love on Tuesday, June 30th from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener, ON.
