Yes Maxine Dad was a prankster with a huge smile, natural ease, strong hands and a large loving heart- if you were lucky enough to be His family.... and not a single attractive lady 😉
I was asked yesterday upon returning to work- my funniest memory of my Dad. I would like to share it.
One day in the afternoon Dad was bored and we would call eachother, as we usually do. This day he called, he was laughing so hard He could barely get the words out.... I asked Him what he was laughing at and starting to giggle myself. He was squeezing words out while bursting into breathless laughs and unintelligible sentences.  He explained a man whom was wearing arm and leg crutches was trying to get down a set of 5 stairs outside of His home. By this time He was laughing so hard He was weezing the words out. The man had trepidation and slowly but surely wound one arm crutch through the rail, another leg was posed like a ballerina, eventually wrapped himself around the side rails sliding around like a hoola hoop and entangling crutches everywhere in the loops rails- As Dad said he was going down beey slowly “arese over tea kettle”. Took the poor man awhile! I said Dad why dont you go help Him? As i was hysterical, He said I’m no good- I mus be going to Hell Kelly for this. We roared.....
The man did hear my father laughing and Dad was crouched under the window hididng while calling. Lol.  He was so content and logical.... I truly miss His strength, presence, and family stories. I am the luckiest girl to be blessed with a Father who showed and assured His commitment and love to family daily. I am glad it hurts like a band on my heart..... what else would prove such love He gave, and how badly it is missed. He were so loved by all.... make me so proud they saw the golden man I did/do. I love You always Daddy xoxoxoxox We all did ♥️

Kelly and family I pray you have many happy memories to comfort you and to help you remember your dad, grandfather, brother and uncle. Although I didn't get to spend a lot of time with Uncle Kevin, when I did, he always made me feel special and he made me smile. Based on the stories mom (Lynda)  would tell us of her childhood, Uncle Kevin was a bit of a prankster who loved to tease as only brothers can do and he held a special place in her heart. When I picture Uncle Kevin in my mind, he always has a big smile and I can still hear him calling me Cieny and laughing. Rest in peace Uncle Kevin, I'm glad to have had you in my life...
