Maddalena Maria Galleani

Maddalena always made her family her top priority. Beloved wife of Olimpio (2016) throughout their 59 years of marriage.

Loving mother of Monica and her husband Dave (Albrecht). Maddalena was the cherished Nonna of Olivia and Mariella. Her granddaughters were everything to her and being their Nonna was her greatest achievement in life. She was so fiercely proud of both them and loved Olivia and Mariella with her whole being.

Maddalena was pre-deceased by her brother, Angelo, of Italy. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Delia of Italy and nieces, Maria Paola of Italy, Loredana, of Toronto. At Maddalena’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral. A private family interment will take place at a later date.

In memory of Maddalena, donations can be made to Waterloo Regional Health Network @ Midtown (Grand River Hospital) ACE (Acute Care for the Elderly) Unit and the Alzheimer Society.
