Passed away peacefully on September 27, 2023 in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of 63 years to Vasco Alberto Brasil. Dearest mother of Francisco (Dawn) and beloved grandmother of Olivia and Maëlle Brasil. Maria lived for her two beautiful granddaughters and would light up when they entered the room.
Maria is survived by her two sisters; Serafina Jordao and Fatima Soares. She is predeceased by her siblings: Maximiano, Jose, Joao, Antonio and Francisco Borba.
Family and friends may visit at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener on Tuesday, October 3rd from 5:30 - 9:00 pm with a funeral service on Wednesday October 4th at 11:00 am followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery.
