Peacefully at the Village of Winston Park, on Friday December 12th, 2014, at the age of 85. Dedicated and cherished wife of 63 years to Alfredo Da Silva, Helena is the dearly loved mother of Lisette Da Silva, Helena Da Silva, Grace Da Silva (Michael), Elda Da Silva-Strome (Jim) and Dean Da Silva. She leaves precious memories with her grandchildren Alexander (Trish), Sascha, Vera, Sean, Cooper and Jessie. Much loved sister to Albina (Frederick) and Leonor, and is predeceased by her parents Jose and Julia Diogo and by her brother Herbert. Family and friends will be received at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S., on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Parish on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Mark Morley officiating. Interment will follow at Williamsburg Cemetery.
