She was a master seamstress and gardening was her passion. Dear mother of Joseph Federer (Jayne Styles) of Renfrew, Katharina Federer of Waterloo and Anne Federer of Waterloo. Survived also by her sister-in-law, Josie Schwarzli, and by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Paul Federer; parents, Josef and Eva Schwarzli; sisters, Rosina and Katharina; and brother, Josef.
