She is now reunited with her husband Armand “Sam” (2011), her son Anthony “Tony” (2019), and her granddaughter Shari White (1982). Mary Ann was the proud and devoted mother of Rick (Joy), Sandi (Phillip), Sharon (Jon), all of Kitchener, and Paul of Kaslo, B.C. She was also a loving mother-in-law to Carmen of Kitchener. Cherished Grandma to Jennifer (Mike), Candy (Lee), Daisy (Raf), Jeff (Laura), Michael (Alysha), and Stephen (Stacey). She was blessed with 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless joy. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Barbara Beer of Stouffville and Margaret “Marnie” Becker of Kitchener.
She found happiness in sewing, knitting, camping, and hosting family celebrations. Her kitchen table was always open for a good cup of coffee and even better conversation. She adored animals, especially her beloved cat, Simba. Her home was a place where everyone felt welcome, and her love could be felt in every handmade stitch and every warm embrace.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her neighbours Donny and Janet Vaughan for their ongoing support and friendship, the Paramed PSW team, and the nurses at Freeport for their kindness and compassionate care in her final days.
Mary Ann’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. To honour her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of her Life will be held on December 20th from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Moose Lodge, 655 Wabanaki Drive, Kitchener, N2C2G3.
