Throughout her illness, Mary demonstrated extraordinary grace, strength, and dignity. Despite the increasing limitations imposed by the disease, her spirit remained unshaken. She continued to inspire everyone around her with her resilience, her quiet courage and unwavering love.
Mary will be deeply missed by her loving children: Amanda (Josh), Richard, Dolores (Dan), and Sabrina (Chad). She was a devoted and proud grandmother—known affectionately as "Nanny"—to Cameron, Avery, Preston, Lucas, John, and Navy, who were the greatest joys of her life.
In her final months, Mary was surrounded by the deep love and care of her children. Her unwavering strength and grace in the face of adversity were truly remarkable.
Mary’s grandchildren brought immense happiness to her life. To them, she was more than just “Nanny”; she was a constant source of unconditional love, laughter, and gentle wisdom. Her eyes lit up in their presence, and even on the most difficult days, they brought joy to her heart.
She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Pat (Irving), Phonse, Teddie (Mick, deceased), Donna (Lou), Chris (Teresa), Mick (Carolyn), John, Marg, Art (Sandy), Marty (Michelle), and Harry (Ruchi), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Ellen and Arthur Delaney, her grandson William, and her husband Kevin.
In accordance with Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Her ashes will be scattered privately, as she requested.
She will be remembered always with love, admiration, and profound gratitude.
