Maude Willey

Passed away peacefully at Winston Park on January 19, 2021 in her 99th year. Beloved Mother to Shirley Boyko, Ruby (Matthew) Savoury, Clayton (Pearl) Strickland and Dorothy (Desmond) Baird. Loving Nannie to Rosemary, Donnalee, Regina, Phillip and Mark; and Great Nannie to Dominik, Zachary, Skylar, Harlan and Paige. Predeceased by husbands Nelson Strickland (1992) and Kenneth Willey (2007), grandson Paul Savoury (1986), and siblings Hubert, Millie, Edwin and Henry. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 26th at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener (519 743 8900). In accordance with current Covid 19 Provincial, Federal and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, special arrangements have been made to accommodate the safety and convenience of everyone. Access to the facility will be controlled and all visitors are asked to call the funeral home to receive and reserve a time to attend the visitation. Guests will be given 15 minutes to make their condolences to the family and are required to wear a mask, provide the funeral home personnel with their name and telephone number upon arrival, and to observe physical distancing measures while on the premises. A private family service will follow. Burial to take place at Memory Gardens, Breslau. Family and friends are invited to view the service via livestream at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Grand River Hospital.
