Passed away at Freeport Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital on Sunday, Monday, August 21st, 2017, at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Roy Lightowlers (June 4, 2017). Dear mother to Jason Lightowlers and the late Paul Lightowlers. Also remembered by her loving granddaughter Brittany and her mother Sonja. Mavis’ family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 12:30 – 1:15 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:30 pm. Interment at Ayr Cemetery.
