Nancy May Jones

Predeceased by her first love William “Billy” Jones (1972). She leaves behind her son, Twain and two daughters, Tammy (Ray) Hunt & Tracy (Ray) Jackson. She was grandmother to Rachael, Dakoda (Meagan), Damon, Spencer, Raven and Jordan. Great-grandmother to Coulter and Carson.

She will be remembered for her quotable sayings “unreal”, “that’s just it” and “isn’t that something” by her family and friends alike.

Cremation has taken place. Interment will occur on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Cemetery, Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation, Neyaashiinigmiing, Ontario. Light refreshments, snacks and facilities are available at the Maadookii Seniors Centre from 1:00 p.m. and will continue after interment.

Directions to Cape Croker (Neyaashiinigmiing) from Wiarton: Hwy. 6 north past Wiarton to Bruce Rd. 9 towards Colpoys Bay. Right onto Purple Valley Rd.; right onto McIver Rd.

Directions to Jones Cemetery: continue on McIver to Prairie Rd.; turn right on Community Centre Rd (at the United Church); cemetery is located on left past the public school and before the stop sign at Lakeshore Rd.

Directions to Maadookii Seniors Centre: From McIver to Prairie Rd., turn right on Maadooki Subdivision Rd., Turn left onto Maadooki Crescent.
