Beloved husband of the late Marykutty Luke (2019). Dear father of Julia Luke (Renato Martins) and Justina Mendoza (Kevin). Loved grandfather of Maddox and Tristan Mendoza and Erick and Julianna Martins. Dear brother of Elizabeth and Mariamma. Dear Great Uncle and Uncle to many in Canada, the U.S. and India. Predeceased by his brother Joseph and sisters Anna and Theresa.

Lukachan was a highly educated man with a sharp wit and a remarkable knack for fixing or building anything. He was known for his legendary jokes and memorable stories. His sense of humour created countless inside jokes that became a part of the family's fabric which has been passed down through the generations. He will be deeply missed.

Lukachan's family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., with prayers at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 305 Laurentian Dr., Kitchener, on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m and will be available through livestream. Interment will follow at Williamsburg Cemetery, 1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd., Kitchener.
