

Beloved wife, best friend and high school sweetheart of husband Gord Deckert with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage until his passing in 2010. Loving mother of Christopher (Marie), Paul (Debby), Richard, Michael (Annette), Patrick (Theresa) and Gregory (Kristen). Proud grandma of 17 grandchildren Nicole (Marcello), Kathleen (Fred), Jacqueline (James), Alexandra (Austin), Stephen (Caitlin), Krystin (Cameron), David (Katie), Kevin (Kayleigh), Eric (Marnina), Nathan (Kate), Emily (Dustin), Bryce (Thao), Brent (Kyla), Brad, Sarah, Sydney, and Simon, and 16 great grandchildren Cameron, Jacob, Sophie, Elliot, Gabriel, Annie, Amelia, Callie, Caleb, Theo, August, Bryar, Nolan, Myles, Brooklyn, and Avery.
Predeceased by parents Ken and Florence Craddock (nee Murphy), and parent-in-laws Ervin and Kathleen Deckert (nee Nelson). Predeceased by Anne and Red Finan, John and Rita Craddock, Tom and Doreen Craddock, Mary and Ed LeBlanc. Predeceased by Harry and Patricia Deckert, Dorothy Deckert and Harry Deckert. Sister to Joe and Sandra Craddock and many nieces and nephews.
Graduate of Cathedral Girls High School in Hamilton. Former teacher in Hamilton . Very active volunteer member of the Catholic Women's League for her entire adult life. Devoted parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church. Co-founder of Flo Components Ltd.
Her happiest moments were spent with her ever growing family of children , grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had the amazing ability to make anyone feel they were very special to her. She is fondly loved by all and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
Nora's family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 305 Laurentian Dr., Kitchener on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow. Interment in Williamsburg Cemetery at a later date.
