Norene Dorothy Iza

Loving mother to Tom Fortuna (Christine), Mark Fortuna (Jane), Tracy Skidgmore (Jonathan), Michelle McCarthy (Don) and Steven (Ona). Grandma to Chantelle, Michael, Sarah, Amy, Emily, Jaime-Lyn, Ryan, Braeden, Camden. Great Grandma to Owen. Predeceased by her mother Norma Hieronimus (nee Bitschy).

Norene was born on July 14, 1943 in Kitchener, Ontario. With the passing of her father Rene Iza early in her life, Norene had forged a tough, resilient spirit within her. She was a caring mom who had a passion for people and food. She was able to pursue her interests in the restaurant business until she retired early to address health concerns. She touched the lives of many people with her genuine interest, sarcastic sense of humour and quick wit. Everywhere she went she made people laugh. She enjoyed bingo, birds and yellow roses.

Cremation has taken place. Norene’s family will be honouring her wishes with a private family burial.
