

Peter is now reunited with his beloved wife Christine (2021), and his dear parents James and Mary. He will be forever cherished as the devoted father of Ken (Annette), and as the most loved granddad of Tanya, Dominique, Shaunna (Omar), and Dante. Peter’s love and legacy live on through his great-grandchildren Briahna, Kemari, Nyeela, Mehki, Lyric, and Ezekiel, who brought him immense joy.
He will be dearly missed by his siblings William (Janet) Irish, Eve (d. Joe) Hussey, Lucine “Nan” (Ken) Dwarica, Cyril (Sonia) Irish, Christobelle (Stafford) Wenner, Marie (Al) Thomas, and Bernadette Irish, and remembered fondly by his sister-in-law Marjorie (Reuben) Piper, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Born in Montserrat, West Indies, Peter was proud of his roots and carried with him the warmth and strength of his heritage throughout his life. He worked as a skilled carpenter with the hydro company, where his craftsmanship and dedication were well respected. Beyond his work, Peter loved his family above all else, enjoyed traveling, and embraced life with kindness and gratitude.
Peter’s memory will be held in the hearts of all who knew him, and his love will continue to inspire generations.
A visitation for Peter will be held Friday, October 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with a visitation 1 hour prior. Webcasting available. Peter will be laid to rest beside his dear wife at Williamsburg Cemetery, 1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Kitchener.
