Predeceased by her husband Geoffrey (2011). Loving mother to Scott (Catherine) and Grant (Joyce). Beloved grandmother to Samantha (Chris), Emma, Adele, Anna, Jacqueline and Nicole (Tommie). Predeceased by brother Ralph Stoute (2022). Phyllis was born in Brooklyn, New York to Muriel and Ralph Stoute on February 25th, 1930. The family returned to Barbados when Phyllis was a toddler, where she developed a love for the ocean - Rockley Beach in particular. Phyllis immigrated from Barbados to Toronto, Canada in 1953. Phyllis resided in Scarborough and worked most of her career in accounting for Quality Records. She retired in 1990, when they moved to Norland, Ontario. Phyllis and Geoff moved to Kitchener in 2002. She enjoyed cooking traditional Bajan food and reading. The family would like to thank the staff at The Village of Winston Park (Williamsburg), Grand River Hospital and Hospice Wellington for their exceptional care and compassion.
