Robert Edward Barton

Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, on Sunday October 30, 2005 at the age of 75.

Robert Edward Barton, husband of the late Doris Barton (1997). Beloved companion of Dorothy Balloch. Cherished father of Robert Jr. and his wife Lynda, Susan and her husband Barry, Jim and his wife Dianne, Thomas and his wife Linda and Richard and his wife Sari-Ruth. Proud grandfather of Michael, Jamie, Christine, Steven, Gregory and Tina. Proud great-grandfather of Tarra and Abigail.

Robert is also survived by sisters Margaret, and Jean and her husband John and brother Jim and his wife Ina as well as brother-in-law Bob Tompson and his wife Helen.

He will be fondly remembered by Dorothy’s family, Wes and Barb Radulski and their children David and Elizabeth, David and Jackie Greenway and their daughter Alexandra, and Rob Greenway and Jennie Vliestra, as well as nieces, nephews and friends.

Robert is predeceased by his daughter Diane (2002) and grandson David (1997).

Mr. Barton is resting at the Westmount Funeral Chapel 1001 Ottawa St. South (at Westmount Rd.), Kitchener, where friends may call Tuesday, November 1, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 11 a.m. (family will receive friends from 10 a.m.). Interment will follow at Williamsburg Cemetery.
