Predeceased by his sons Dwayne (2020) and Patrick (2021). Survived by his wife of 51 years Peggy and her son Steven McDermott. Rodger “Grandpa” will be missed by his grandchildren; Paighton, Lexington, Addyson and their mother Stephanie De la celle (Brent Hern) and grandsons Johnathon and Jacob (Johnny). Brother to Georgette Perrier, and the late Noella Wardle (2023)and brother-in-law to Wanda (the late Glen), Sharon (the late Sieg) and Floyd (Betty Ann). Rodger will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Rodger was a long time employee of Budd’s Automotive and enjoyed gardening and spending time with family following his retirement.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4th from 4-8 pm, and again on Friday, December 5th from 10 – 11:45 am with a memorial service in the chapel at 12:00 pm. Following the service there were will be a burial of ashes at Williamsburg Cemetery where Dwayne’s ashes will be laid to rest with his father Rodger.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rodger’s name may be made to the Lung Association.
