Loving father to Cameron, Travis and step-daughter Farrah. Dear brother of Sheila, Steve and BIL John, Son of Harold and step son to Audrey. Husband of Jennifer.
Ron found great comfort in the life and words of King David, a man who understood both the depths of human weakness and the boundless nature of God's grace. King David's story is one of faith, failure, repentance, and redemption. A reminder that God does not expect perfection, but rather a heart that continually turns toward Him. Ron connected deeply with that truth. Like King David, he recognized that none of us are without faults, yet he placed his trust in God's mercy, forgiveness, and unfailing love.
Those who knew Ron saw that same humility reflected in his own life. He understood life's challenges and carried his share of burdens, yet he never allowed his struggles to harden his heart. Instead, he remained compassionate and attentive to the needs of others. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand, or simply taking the time to listen, Ron consistently made space in his day to care for and support those around him.
We remember Ron not as a perfect man, but as a genuine and caring one. A man who faced life's realities with honesty, who extended grace to others because he understood his own need for grace, and who sought comfort and strength in his faith. His example reminds us that a life well lived is not measured by the absence of struggles, but by the love, kindness, and faithfulness we show in the midst of them. Through that legacy, Ron continues to inspire and encourage all who were blessed to know him. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
