It is with profound sadness and much love that we announce the peaceful departure of Sandra Ann Frensch, of Kitchener, Ontario who passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the age of 76. Born in Kitchener, she was the eldest daughter of Jerome and Evelyn Lobsinger. Sandy leaves behind a legacy of love and is remembered as beloved wife of 56 years to husband Arthur (Art) Frensch, dear mother to daughter Karen Frensch, and loved grandmother “Nana” to grandson Eric James Heldt. Sandy and Art met in Grade 8 at St. Francis Catholic Elementary School and both attended Forest Heights Collegiate Institute in Kitchener. They married on a snowy day in December 1969, had a beautiful daughter, and started a business together in 1977 as co-founders of K.S. Welding which operated for 37 years. In retirement Sandy enjoyed spending time with her family at the cottage in Point Clark, Ontario, cuddling with her toy poodle Chloe, and shopping for her grandson. Sandy lived her final months with determination and grace. Her spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place. Sandra’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Williamsburg Cemetery.
