Age 67 Halifax passed away June 5, 2016 suddenly at home. Born in Toronto she was a daughter of the late Robert and D. Jean (LeRoy) Blair and step-daughter to Carolyn Blair of Kitchener, Ontario. Sharon loved animals especially her dog Dakota and cat Belle. She is survived by her son Russell (Gwendolyn) Manderville, Halifax; sisters Linda (Stan) Braciszewicz, St. Catherines, Ontario, Wendy Attwell (Robert), Freelton, Ontario, Alison Bishop Kitchener, Ontario; step-sisters Angela (Chris) Mawdsley, Torbermory, Ontario, Linda (John) Mann, Waterloo; Step-brother John “Eddie” Ruppe, Kitchener, Ontario; grandmother to Liam Manderville, Ben and Luke Saunders; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband James William Goodchild; Aunt Joan Nutt. Visitation/memorial service will be held 6-9 Thursday June 16 in Westmount Funeral Home, Kitchener, Ontario. Burial will take place in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge, Ontario. Donations may be made to the Lions Club Dog Guides program, Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
