Beloved wife of Michael Holbrook for 24 years. Loving and devoted mother of Paul (Chelsey), Stephen (Kim), and Jacob (Alicia). Cherished grandmother to Emma and Nathan. Beloved daughter of Simon and Jennifer (née Macklon) Sykes-Wright. Dear sister of Simon Sykes-Wright (Charly). Tanya is also lovingly remembered by her two dogs, Domino and Teddy, who were always by her side.
Tanya will be remembered for her strength, her deep love for her family, and the simple joys she cherished - especially relaxing pool days at home. She was a true homebody who found her happiness in being surrounded by the people she loved.
Tanya’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener (519-743-8900), on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m., with a reception to follow.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff at London Hospital, Woodstock Hospital, and VON Sakura House.
