After a brave battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, Thomas passed away at Grand River Hospital on Wednesday, April 26th, 2017 at the age of 68. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Antonia, he is the dearly loved husband of Mary (nee Calleja) and cherished father of Jennifer (Steve) Farrugia, Jeffrey (Nadia) Chircop and Tammy (Francis) Asis. Thomas leaves precious memories with his grandchildren; Jasmine, Chantelle, Mia, Nina, Grayson and Nyxon, and his siblings Paul, Rose, Carmen, Gina, Joe and Godfrey. Lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law Angela Calleja (the late Emanuel), and all of those whose lives he touched. Family and friends will be received at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil will be at 8:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 240 Hemlock St, Waterloo on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with cremation to follow.
