With sadness we announce that Tina Marie Barker passed away peacefully at home on November 10th, 2025. She is reunited with her beloved son Joel, her mother Dorothy, and her brother, Bobby. Tina leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Lauren, her father Bob, her brother Richard, her loyal four-legged companion, Cooper, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and cherished friends who held a special place in her heart. Tina’s father would also like to extend his gratitude to all her wonderful friends from Canadian Tire and Bulk Barn.
Tina’s warmth radiated far beyond her family. Her work with oneROOF touched countless lives, and she found true purpose in supporting and uplifting the young people in our community. Those who had the privilege of knowing her—whether through her work or her friendship—were better for it.
Tina’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, from 2-4 PM at the Moose Lodge in Kitchener (655 Wabanaki Dr., Kitchener). Beverages will be available for purchase at the bar.
In honour of Tina’s generous spirit, the family welcomes donations to oneROOF Youth Services, a place that meant so much to her and where she made a lasting difference as well as any Mental Health Agency.
