Valerie Anne Hodgson

Born on June 12, 1969, in Guelph, Ontario Valerie was the cherished firstborn to Alfred and Lorraine Hodgson, and the beloved sister to Ken, John, Ross (Nancy), and Janice (Shane). She was Luke and Alexia's proud and loving aunt and will be fondly remembered by family and friends.

Valerie was a remarkable woman whose vibrant personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Valerie was known for her outgoing spirit, boundless kindness, generosity, and sharp intellect.

Valerie graduated from Eastwood Collegiate in Kitchener and studied business at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. She later earned her real estate license and achieved success throughout her professional career.

Valerie had an undeniable passion for fashion, health and approached life with elegance, enthusiasm, and a deep love for meaningful conversations. Her warmth and positivity brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those she inspired.

Valerie’s life will be celebrated in a private service at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre with her final resting place at Williamsburg Cemetery in Kitchener, Ontario.

Valerie will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and cherished with love.
