It’s been our absolute pleasure meeting your parents. They’ve been friends of ours since we worked for them at Gourmet Poulet when we were 15years old which is  a lot of years ago!  They have and always will hold a special place in both of our hearts.  We have enjoyed our  visits at least annually since we met them. My kids loved the goodies Vera would send home. We also thank the rest of the family for including us in many special events     With our deepest sympathy for your loss. May your memories bring a smile to your hearts and help ease your pain. Dearest Tante Meithy,

With great sadness we were informed about your passing, a very sad moment, may you rest in peace. The irony is I called you on the 13th of March, you didn't pick up, only to find out that you were that day in hospital,  a pity we didn't speak, it would have been the last time.
I just like to share a few fond memories of my beloved Aunty, I must have been 3-4 years old when i went to germany to visit my aunt, we went to a  VW workshop to meet oom Chris who showed up from under a VW beetle. I realize he was a car mechanic, i was very intrigued.  A few years later , I must be 6 or 7 by now, the postman had delivered a special package for me from Canada. It turned out to be a special birthday gift from far, soo generous and thoughtful, these moments you never forget as a 7 year old.  Following years later we met both in Europe and Canada. During my 1st visit in Canada, new impressions,  Niagara Falls, having McDonalds hamburgers, unknown to us then, what a treat! Also visiting the Thousand Islands and Humpty Dumpty.  I was impressed with the islands and beautiful properties. Also throwing baseballs at your backyard in Kitchener and you gave me a nice baseball hat. Always the happy, generous and emotional Aunty, you  always cried when we said goodbye,  I still feel the emotions and love from you. You always be remembered, always positive and making others happy, I will never forget you, with all my  love! ❤️ Cliff, Sharon and Rock

Met veel verdriet in ons hart wil ik namens mijn familie uit Holland en Spanje een herinnering aan tante Vera achterlaten.
Tante Vera en Roger hebben ons 3 jaar geleden tijdens hun reis door Europa een bezoek gebracht in Holland.
Het was een heel bijzonder bezoek met veel gezelligheid, waarbij we onder andere veel mooie herinneringen hebben opgehaald over de tijd dat onze ouders er nog waren.
Wij kennen Tante Vera als een enorme warme, gezellige en positive vrouw, die altijd klaar stond voor anderen.
Wij wensen Rick en gezin, Roger en gezin, veel sterkte en kracht toe met dit enorme verlies.

Dear family Oei, I will always remember tante Meity as the sweetest aunt. This is a picture of oom Chris and tante Meity visiting the Netherlands I think in 2012 when Ella-Rose was 2 years old. 
After my dad passed away tante Meity and I were more in touch through emails sharing memories of him. I hope your memories with her will give you comfort the coming period.

I was saddened to hear of Vera's passing.  Heartfelt condolences, Rick, Roger and families.
I think of your Mom often when looking at the pretty orchid she gave me on my retirement.  I loved the talks we had over the years and thought of Vera as more of a friend than a client.
She was so sweet and kind and I know she will be sorely missed.

Our thought are with you all.   May the fond memories of your mom be a source of comfort and smiles at this difficult time.

I remember your mum took care of my dad and I when he had his bypass surgery in Singapore years ago. I spent a lot of time talking to her and hearing many stories. She talked about you and your families in great detail and with so much pride. She loved all of you immensely. It was a shame she lived so far away but I was glad we were able to see her several times over the years. I’m particularly thankful that she met Mila-Mae in 2023.
