Passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the age of 94 years as the result of ovarian cancer. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Victor Westle (1983). Dear mother of the late Norma Hawthorne (2011). Loving grandmother of Kyle Hawthorne and Kirk Hawthorne. Vera will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends will be received at Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 10:30 – 11:15 am, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:30 am. Cremation will follow. Interment later in St. John’s Norway Cemetery, Toronto. If desired, donations to Ovarian Cancer Canada would be appreciated.
