(April 9, 1951 - July 2, 2026)
Ginnie left us this week after a gallant struggle with cancer. Much loved by her husband George Feeley, son John Feeley, sisters Helen Hanson and Alice Feeley, many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. She is predeceased by her son Patrick Hanson, sisters Margaret Brubaker and Dorothy Maier and her parents Lilian and Harry Hanson. Ginnie's memory will live on in our hearts and continue to be a bright light in our lives.
Special thanks to the incredible staff and volunteers of Innisfree House who helped fill her last days with kindness and love.
Ginnie's family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., and again on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 12:00 - 12:45 p.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow and a private interment will be held by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to the University of Guelph OVC Pet Trust or to a charity of your choice.
