

Aiden was a radiant light in the lives of everyone who knew him. Born with a heart full of joy and a spirit of courage, he truly never met a stranger. His ever-present smile and laughter had the power to lift the spirits of those around him, and his kindness knew no bounds.
Brave and strong beyond his years, Aiden faced every challenge with a warrior's heart. To his family and friends, he was nothing short of a superhero. He inspired everyone with his strength, his unshakable positivity, and his deep love for life. Aiden filled every moment with meaning.
Aiden found his greatest joy in the simple moments spent with his family. His love for his family was deep and unconditional, and the bonds he shared with them were filled with laughter, warmth, and endless affection. He was the heart of every gathering, bringing light and love wherever he went.
Aiden's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering strength. Though his absence leaves a space that can never be filled, his light will forever live on in the memories and hearts of those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by many loved ones.
Aiden is survived by his grandparents Karen Kaiser Story and Tim Story; parents Lauren Darnell and Michael (Jordan) Petak; siblings Neveah, Estella, Lily, Brayden, Rayanne, and Xander; grandparents Vince Petak, Mae Blair, Gary (Lynica) Darnell, Howard Farmer Jr., Aleta Esau, and Dianne Sage; aunts and uncles Chrissy Darnell, Andrew Darnell, Amanda Kaiser, and Timmy Kaiser. Aiden also leaves behind a large loving family.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Connie Mitchell, Mike Hale, Donna McMillian, Ft. Sanders School and Staff, and many other home health nurses. They would also like to thank New Fellowship Full Gospel Church, Children’s Hospital, Children’s Home Health Staff, and Associates in Pediatric Therapy.
The family welcomes friends for a Visitation on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 5pm-7pm, at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with a Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Sam Ward, to follow at 7pm. Family and friends will meet at Berry Lynnhurst Cemetery on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 11am for a Graveside Service.
