Daisy Carolyn Hatcher, born September 16, 1932 in Maynardville, TN, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Carolyn was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Halls. She graduated from Fulton High School and attended Cooper Business School and Tennessee Wesleyan College. Carolyn is preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Jeannie Hatcher BD; mother, Hazel Irene Walker (former music teacher at Pond Gap school) and father, Alexander Pickle Hatcher(a machinist for ORNL and the construction of Norris Dam). Survived by niece, Pam Bruce Inklebarger and spouse, Wayne; great-nephews, Bruce and Joshua. The family will receive friends Friday, August 28, 2015 from 10-10:30am at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive. The funeral service will begin at 10:30am, Rev. Charla Sherdakoff officiating. Carolyn will be laid to rest in Lynnhurst Cemetery surrounded by her grandmother, Daisy Goddard Walker and her great aunts, Lena, Carrie and Vera.
