Diana Lynn Sandstrom, 78, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Fort Sanders Hospital with her family by her side. She previously worked at Fort Sanders as a secretary. Diana and Michael were members of the Clogging Ridgers. She fulfilled her dream of being a mom, and dedicated her life to being the best mother she could be. Diana is loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by parents, Willard and Goldia Acuff; and brother, Robert “Bob” Acuff. She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Sandstrom; sister, Kathy Acuff; daughters, Christy Sandstrom, Tiffany Sandstrom Pardue (Charlotte, NC); granddaughters, Audrey and Peyton Pardue; niece, Angel Acuff; and great nephews and niece, Travis, Colby, Chase, and Caitlin Shope.
