Stacy, Drexall Thomas, (Red) age 77, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a retired auto mechanic and owned a custom woodworking shop after retirement. Preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Allie Stacy; brother, Randall Stacy; sister, Merita Ann Pruitt; step-son, Charlie Ray Sharp.
Survived by wife of 40 years, Shirley Stacy; step-daughters, Rhonda Burke and husband Michael, Debra Cockrum and husband Randall; grandchildren, Christy Boring and husband John, Carlie Rae Sharp; great grandchildren, Cayla Cockrum, Caraline Boring; great great granddaughter, Addalee Watson; brothers, Burl Stacy and Charles Stacy; sister, Millie Frye and husband Clifford; several nieces and nephews. He will be missed and was loved by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Thursday with the funeral to follow at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Luckey Steele and Rev. Gene Hurley officiating.
