Nicely, Evelyn Lillian age 86 of Knoxville, went home on the wings of God’s Angels on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Last of 12 children of Nancy Florence Oakley Ramsey and Mansfield Ramsey. Survivors include loving husband of 66 ½ years Edward O. Nicely Sr.; children Brenda York and Joe; Eddie Nicely, Jr. and Bernice (deceased); grandchildren Joe G. York, Jr., Dr. Timothy York, Scott Nicely, Melanie Phipps, Patti Beatty, Amy Baker and Kelly Fall; great-grandchildren Callie Claire and Adeline Grace York; Dakota and Logan Phipps; Andrew and Luke Beatty; Trent and Tucker Phillips; Haley and Caleb Baker; Special caregiver, friend and sister-in-law Ruby Perry Evans. Evelyn was an avid bowler and will leave a host of friends both past and present at Fountain City Bowing Lanes. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8pm at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel.
