Bryan, James Melvin “Pop” age 84 of Knoxville passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 10pm in the Physicians Regional Medical Center. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #433 and a Scout Master. He graduated from Old Knoxville High School. He was preceded in death by his parents James Wiley and Bertie Lucille Bryan. Survived by his loving wife of 60 ½ years Betty Bryan, sons Richard Bryan and family, Gordon and family, 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brothers Ronnie and Donnie Bryan, sisters Linda Brown, Faye Starmer, Shirley Harp, Joyce Lippe, JoFrances Bryan and Vera Morgan. Family and friends will meet Thursday at 1:45pm in the Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 2pm interment service. Arrangements by Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel.
