James Douglas Floyd, age 72, of Loudon, Tennessee, after a courageous fight with cancer, peacefully went to be with Jesus in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 30, 2023. He was an avid golfer, loved to fish and a master carpenter who loved woodworking. Doug enjoyed vacations at the beach. Above all, he loved his wife and family.
Doug was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Jo (J. Alvin) Robinson and sister, Teresa L. Hicks. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Bobbi Floyd; children, Brian, Leslie (Brian), Jessi, Josh (Brooke) and Shawn; grandchildren, Gage, Jillian, Skylar, Gavin, Jaxon, Avenlea, Hunter, Grayson, Gemma, Shelby, Maxton and Henry; great granddaughter, Olivia; sister, Celeste (Steve) Troutman; brother, Joe Robinson; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Saturday, May 6th from 2-4pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with a Memorial service immediately following at 4pm.
