Jennie P. Holloway

July 17, 2023, Jennie Parr Holloway went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 30, 1927, in Munfordville, Kentucky to Edward and Louise Parr. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Earl Ray Holloway and her son, Paul Bethea Holloway. She is survived by her three daughters, Ann Kimball Tubb (Gary), Elizabeth Holloway McDaniel (Tommy), Sarah Louise Holloway; her eight grandchildren and her sixteen great-grandchildren. She lived a life dedicated to music and service, whether it was accompanying her husband’s voice lessons and recitals, his choirs, or inspiring church congregations with her spirit-filled praise and worship at the piano. One of her greatest joys was accompanying her talented children. In later years, her favorite things were watching Bill Gaither and Friends, visiting with loved ones, and talking to Siri. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her caring spirit. She is a hero to all who knew her and will be greatly missed by all. Jennie’s Celebration of Life will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 7535 Maynardville Hwy., on Sunday, July 23, with visitation at 5:00 p.m. and service to follow at 6:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 24, 11:00 a.m. at Lynnhurst Cemetery, 2300 W.
