Bost, Jesse (Sonny) Carroll, age 80, went to his Heavenly home with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 2, 2015. He was an Army veteran and retired from the Knoxville Fire Department with 38 years of service. He also was a long time member of West Lonsdale Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Flora King. Survived by wife of 51 years Ruth Bost; sons and daughters-in-law, David (Lisa), Michael (Shirley) and Kevin (Joann) Bost of Knoxville; grandchildren, Hope, Alexis, Tyler, and Conner Bost; step grandsons, Brandon and Justin Duvall; great-step grandson, Brentley Duvall; brother, Marshall Bost; special family member, Alice Lane and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Thursday, November 5th at West Lonsdale Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 7pm with Pastor Todd Halliburton and Pastor Jeff Johnson officiating. The family will meet at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home at 12:30pm Friday, November 6th to go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for the 1pm interment.
