Jessie "Tillie" Norris

Norris, Jessie “Tillie”- passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Norris was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church and was active in the Huffaker Sunday School Class. She worked as an RN at St. Mary’s Medical Center for 45 years. She was a very kind, compassionate person who never found fault in anyone and was greatly loved by all. Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Stone; brother, James Tillman and special in-laws, Mildred and George Blakely, Wanda Norris and Jan Norris. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Henry Norris; daughters, Glenda (Rick) Harbin, Deborah Norris and Janet (Mike) Jones. She also leaves her beloved granddaughters, Brittany (Hondo) Logan and Jessica Harbin; sisters, Mary McDaniel and Vera Shell and special in-laws, Glenn Norris and Bob (Pat) Norris. She also loved all of her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Tennova Medical Center ICUB. Also special thanks to Rev. Kent Williams, Sister Mary Martha Nabor, Gary Boyd and Don Hughes for their support. The family will receive friends at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Drive from 5-7pm, Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11am at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel for the service, Rev. Kent Williams officiating.
