Joseph A. Zitelli

Joseph A. Zitelli was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday March 10, 2013 following an extended illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Martha, his children Corrine Renault (Jon) of Fairport, NY, Joseph K. Zitelli (Bobbie) of Powell, TN, and Christopher Zitelli (Jacqueline) of Wellington, FL, his grandchildren Paul, Lauren, Chace, Faith, Angelina, and Isabella, his mother Yolanda Paskewitz of Delray Beach, FL, his sister Yolanda Zitelli, of W. Babylon, NY, and his friend Jerry the cat. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph G. Zitelli and his brother, Kenneth R. Zitelli.

Joe was a choir member and parishioner at St. Albert the Great Roman Catholic Church. He also belonged to several bowling leagues at Strike and Spare. He retired from IBEW Local 3 as a journeyman electrician in 1994. Joe loved his family more than life itself. He shared his love with others through his music and his stories. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday at Lynhurst-Greenwood Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Thursday at St. Albert the Great Roman Catholic Church with Father Chris Michelson officiating. Entombment will follow at Lynnhurst Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the ASPCA. Arrangements by Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W.
