Dear JoAnn, Kirk,  Nancy, Tom, Patti, Holly and Zach:
I send my prayers to you for God's comforting arms to enfold you and hold you  in the coming days.  Your Mom and Grandmom was the true matriarch of the Cochran family....a servant of God and a loving, compassionate woman who lived her faith each day.  May God fill the hole in your hearts with fond memories and the desire to love as she did. I have experienced a loss like yours and I pray God's peace for each of you.

Today's service was one of the most beautiful and thoughtful celebrations of life I have ever attended. My Dad and I both cried tears of joy knowing that Jo has done an unbelievable job with her family and friends on earth, and my Mom has another incredible friend in Heaven. I so proud of the family members who were so honest, eloquent, and loving in their oratory efforts today. It was the perfect ending to her time with us and God is excited for such a faithful servant in heaven and is enjoying her spirit, heart, and love forever more.

What a special, special person....may we all have such a life.  Love to you all.

To the Cochran Family,
I was saddened to read of Mrs. Cochran's passing. She and Mr. Cochran were extremely generous and supportive parents and members of our community. May you find comfort and joy in knowing she has reunited with her husband and son who have gone before her, and they will live life everlasting in the grace of our Lord. May God's blessings be upon all of you throughout the times ahead.

I had brief contacts with Jo as a member of First Baptist and on Deacon Board and always admired the grace and ease of how she carried herself.She was a true Southern lady with a big heart who lived a meaningful life.

Jo Cochran was the best neighbor I ever had. Many times she inspired me to be a better person. She had my respect and admiration in those years
when we lived next door. I cried when she moved and again when the grass grew up on the path between our houses.

Tom, Joann, Karen, Eric, I was heartbroken to hear about your mom. What a beautiful, precious woman she was, larger than life! Your family had always felt like mire than an employer to me. Tom told me many times" we are a family " your family has a special place in my heart. I pray God will give you the strength and peace to handle this sad time. Lord bless and keep you all!
